San Nicolás Totolapan is a protected natural area in southern Mexico City, located on the slopes of the Ajusco at approximately 2,800–3,100 meters above sea level. It features high-altitude pine and fir forests, cool mountain weather, and a quiet natural environment. The area is used for hiking, mountain biking, trail running, camping, environmental education, and outdoor recreation close to the city.
